a thought

I listened to a sermon this morning and thought the following statement was really well put:

“We were never deputized to be enforcers of rules to the rest of the world.” – Doug Self

Thoughts, anybody?

  1. Hey Kara,
Responding to this post. We don’t try to enforce rules on unbelievers. They need Christ and that is all. We also do not try to be the Holy Spirit to our fellow believers in Christ. Yet–this is what I’m struggling with now. If we have a relationship with a brother or sister and we see them taking a path not supported by Scripture, don’t we owe it to the Body to say something?
